1 hr until the cab arrives

Only 1 hr until the cab comes to pick me up. I guess I should start packing eh? j/k I am all packed up and ready to go. I'm sure I forgot something but as long as I have socks and undies I'll be fine.

Good news! My 1 gig flash card for my camera showed up today at NCIX. I was told it wasn't going to be here before I left so I was a bit disappointed (mostly because I ordered it LAST week). Now I'll be able to take even MORE pictures! Muh ha ha ha

I probably won't be able to update this until Monday when I get in the office. Stay tuned until then.

T-minus 22 hrs

I have gone from counting the number of days until I leave to the number of hours. Everyone keeps asking if I'm getting excited about the trip. Until this very instant I haven't been. Now that my bag is half packed and I know I'm leaving in less than a day I must say I'm pretty stoked.

The travel time is going to be brutal. It is a 9 hr flight to Heathrow, then an 8 hr layover (hope they have lots of beer), then another 9 hr flight into Mumbai. I won't be there until Saturday around noon /cry

Apparently there is a nice restaurant Jonathan and I are supposed to go to with Jenn (they are my colleagues). It is only open on the weekends and has a great patio. We'll see how that goes in the 35C heat!

Anyways. More to pack for me. I'll write more when I'm in India.
