Yup. I'm still alive

Hi Everyone

I know I've been lacking in the posts lately. My bad!

So what have I been up to since I've been in London?

The first week was work. Not much exciting happened during the day, but I did manage to spend my first night in an English pub while the Champions League Finals were on. That is pretty much the Stanley Cup Final game for us in Canuck land. Boy do these guys love their football!

During my week of vacation I played the roll of a tacky tourist. I basically just wandered around all of central London and took in all the sights, like:

• Trafalger's Square
• St. Paul's
• London Eye
• the Thames
• Science Museum
• oh and the list goes on

I had a small side trip to Paris that ended up being a little more expensive than I thought it would be. I found a great deal online for £85. I had a great time in Paris and saw quite a few sights, took a whole bunch of photos. But I managed to lose track of time and miss my train home! There was one other train that night but coach was all sold out. The only way out of Paris that night was to buy a first class ticket for the train! Well that cost me €250 /cry That is about $350 CDN.

I'll be heading back to Canada tomorrow (Saturday). My family will be there to pick me up so it'll be neat to see them all at the airport :)
